Almond Villa is absolutely beautiful! The view is breathtaking, the garden beautifully kept and the house is spotless and have everything you need! We felt calm the minute we walked through the door. With a car you can see more and we enjoyed little trips around the island. Vasiliki and Syvota on the south of the island are worth a visit. Nice small seaside villages. We also really enjoyed the local beaches only 10 minutes away. And of course the fantastic pool, morning swims and night swims!
We can just describe the villa in one way, fantastic!! Thank you Harry and Sarka for being amazing hosts! Hope we can come back one day!

Almond villa is superb, exceptionally clean and with everything you need.
The garden area with its pool and terrace is just beautiful.
Harry and Sharka were wonderful attentive hosts who clearly take much pride in Almond Villa.

Kalamitsi is a lovely rural mountain village with 2 tavernas and a cafe bar. There are 2 small shops which stock all essentials.
In order to enjoy the island a car or scooter are a must as there are no buses from Kalamitsi. We used Green Motion who provided excellent customer service.

We loved Rachi Restaurant in Exanthia stunning views and food.
Porto Katsiki and Egremni Beaches are breathtaking.
Agios Nikitas is just a 10 min drive away with a lovely bustling little street with shops, restaurants and bars.
Nidri is nice but more touristy but definitely rent a boat for the day from Trident Boats so much fun.

A wonderful 2 weeks we didn’t want to leave and hope to return. 5*****

Thank you Harry for a lovely stay in your lovely villa. Wonderful views and the villa was clean and tidy. We had a wonderful time and the villa felt like a home away from home.

If you are looking for a great place to relax and unwind, look no further! We travelled from Canada to Greece for the first time and wanted to experience a less commercial more authentic Greek village. We had a wonderful time staying at the Almond Villa, even though mother nature tested us with a wind storm and left us without power for almost 24hours. Harry, our host, kept us comfortable and up to date on the utility company progress on restoring the power. However, the villa has a gas BBQ and we stocked up on ice – what else one needs besides meat and cold beer during a wind storm 🙂
The villa is very comfortable and located within walking distance to the village amenities and 10 minutes drive to several beautiful beaches, local shopping and restaurants. Also within 20-30 minutes drive you can find yourself in the center of the city of Lefkada, strolling on the promenade, having dinner at sea view restaurants or shopping for souvenirs.
We will definitely return to this lovely place in the future!

We had a wonderful time with our five year old daughter in the Villa Almont for two weeks.

We loved the relaxed atmosphere of the small village of Kalamitsi with its local restaurants, the lovely supermarkets and of cause the friendly people.

The house was really fantastic with the spectacular view, the clean and big pool and the lovely structured garden.

Harry thanks again for everything, we will come again.

This is the best holiday house we’ve ever seen! We would like to stay more than a week because all was perfect! An amazing place, superb design, very clean, discreet service up to the level of a 5 stars hotel, beautiful view. Loved it!!! We are very happy to have found such warm hospitality. It is not very often you find a house that exactly delivers what it promises. Villa Almond just did that for us. Everything was well taken care for and we loved the cleanliness and modern design of the villa. The village certainly is a positive asset, it makes you feel at home for the duration of your stay. And for the rest – Lefkada has everything you want for a summerholiday. We left this morning and we miss it already!

Wir haben mit 4 Personen zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem Haus verbracht. Alles war so wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Eine Belegung mit 6 Personen empfinden wir allerdings zu eng, da dann 2 Personen im Wohnzimmer schlafen müssten. Das Haus liegt wunderschön und ruhig am Rande von Kalamitsi, mit tollem Blick auf das Meer und die Berge. Die Lage ist ideal um die Insel zu erkunden, oder an einen der vielen Traumstrände zu fahren. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden 2mal wöchentlich gewechselt. Der Besitzer wohnt ganz in der Nähe, ist immer erreichbar bei Fragen oder Wünschen. Man kann das Haus nur weiter empfehlen und Lefkas ist eine der schönsten griechischen Inseln, die ich kenne. Wir werden mit Sicherheit nach Lefkas und in dieses wunderschöne Haus zurück kommen.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines debut aout 2011 avec nos 3 enfants et nous nous sommes régalés. La maison est impéccable et Harry et Sharka les propriétaires sont trés discrets et adorables.
Pas voisins directs, juste la mer, le maquis et le soleil. Vue à couper le souffle, le village est trés typique.
Bref une adresse idéale pour des vacances en famille.
Merci encore pour votre accueil, nous avons passé des vacances inoubliables.

An accomondation that exceeds you expectations… when did that happen before? Thank you, Harry and Sharka, for renting out a little paradise on earth. Beautiful and tasteful in every little detail. It was so hard to leave… but the merrier to come back. Which we hope to do! Take care both of you!

We\’ve just come back from two great weeks at Almond Villa. The pictures on the website look superb and we certainly weren\’t disappointed when we arrived.
Harry and Sharka have done an excellent job with the villa and the grounds, it was perfect and we couldn\’t fault a single thing.
Some days we never left the villa and had a BBQ at night, but there are plenty of great places to eat nearby.
We really would recommend Almond Villa for a great relaxing holiday, a true 5 star villa.

We, 2 couples in their mid-twenties, stayed in Almond Villa for a week and had really beautiful and peaceful holidays.

Almond Villa is perfectly located in the middle of Lefkas’ western cost with beautiful beaches and lovely villages. Starting from Almond Villa one can easily reach every destination on the island but it’s necessary to hire a car or scooter. Kalamitsi itself is very quiet but offers everything you need: small supermarkets with the most important things for daily life and two nice taverns a bit outside the village on the way to Ag. Nikitas.

We had a wonderful stay in Villa Almond which is more a second home than just accommodation. The pictures really show the truth and the villa is fitted out perfectly. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay in Villa Almond again when we visit Lefkas in future.

In the summer of 2010 we have spent a fantastic weekly holiday in Almond villa. It is a modern villa with excellent facilities set within an almond field overlooking the Ionion sea.
All the rooms in the villa including the bathrooms were spacious and very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped providing us everything we needed. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast on the patio overlooking the pool area and the sea. All the windows and French doors had mosquito screens, so we could feel the cool of the evening without getting bitten.
The owners were very friendly and helpful, providing all the needs, and doing all their best to offer us the most pleasant holiday we could have.
It was one of our more memorable holidays and certainly money well spent.
We highly recommend this villa to everybody who wants to have beautiful relaxing holidays.

A private villa with fantastic views up in a mountain village. What you need to know is that the pictures of this villa are the real thing. Modern living with everchanging views. We stayed a week travelled around the whole island (probably takes about 4 to 5 hours) and visited the Waterfalls near Nidri (free to get in) which are worth a visit but steps and stones to climb over. Also worth a visit if you like a beautiful beach is Egremni with breathtaking crystal sea and a long beach but be warned you’ll need to climb down 350 steps which is not so bad going down but tough coming back up! Would say that you need a car or scooter to get around as the nearest beach is about 3km. Don’t miss out on Agios Nikita’s – it’a pretty little village with really nice tavernas. This villa has it all and to top it all make sure you enjoy the wonderful air display by the cheeky swifts who fly down to the pool to drink and have a bath (whilst in flight) – its fantastic!!!
Thanks to the owners for their care and attention and they really are nice people. We can honestly say that it isn’t too good to be true so we hope you have a lovely holiday just like we did.

We had a two week stay in September 2010 in this villa.
It is a very elegant, modern and stylish villa where you can see much care and attention for the details. There are two spacious bedrooms with their own bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen which has everything you could possibly need. The villa is in excellent condition and very clean.
Each room in the house is designed to take full advantage of the stunning sea view and sunset which can really take your breath away.
Also the terrace, pool area and the large garden is quite simply spectacular.
The villa owners were very nice and helpful and the service was excellent.
Romantic sandy beaches are just a short drive away.
We had a wonderful stay at Almond villa, it was all and more than we expected. The villa is simply beautiful and luxurious and has all the amenities one would need.
Already recommended this villa to our friends & family.

One of the best places where we have been. Very nice new villa ,with frendly owners! Everything perfect and we will dream to come back. Recommend for a family up to 6 persons or two small famalies.

We, a family with 3 children, enjoyed our stay in Almond Villa. The photo’s on the website are giving a good impression of the house. What you don’t see is the peaceful and quite surrounding. We really can recommend this place. The service by the owners was perfect.
